Materials + Care

During transportation the wall hangings may have moved around and will need a little love getting all the pieces balanced and centered again. The tassels might need some fluffing and can be steamed if necessary. Natural fibers can be spot treated with a mild blend of soap and water or baking soda and water.  Please avoid getting brass wet. Brass shapes may shift during shipping and can be centered by sliding them gently.

The brass tubing I use for the body shapes of my pieces are 100% raw brass produced in the U.S. They are hand cut, bent, and soldered by me so please allow for some organic variation between pieces. Brass components of the wall hangings are sealed with a clear finish that protects from tarnishing. All brass will eventually tarnish over time due to oxidation but the coating will keep it shining for much longer than if left untreated.Brass components of necklaces are uncoated so they can patina naturally with wear. Please do not use solvents or commercial cleaning solutions on them as that may affect the coating.

If your piece has darkened over time and you'd like to remove the coating to polish the brass back to its original shine, please feel free to reach out to me here for instructions or to have me polish your piece for you.

Due to the nature of overdyeing fibers with indigo to get a really rich color, please be cautious of getting any of these pieces wet as the color may run.
